1.- Overview

This can be a very long and tedious process, and in many cases it's more trouble than it's worth. It doesn't have to be that way, however, as Web Dumper makes this whole process very fast and easy.
With Web Dumper you can download entire Web sites off of the Internet, and save them on your hard drive for later offline browsing. Downloaded Web sites are saved on your hard drive with their directory structure intact. Web Dumper automatically downloads HTML documents along with their embedded pictures, sounds, movies and so on while it screens them to look for any enclosed links to other documents.
Web Dumper lets you select which kinds of file you want to be dumped between more than 60 available standard types, the folder depth level, how links must be processed and if it must re-link your HTML documents for offline browsing.
Web Dumper is:
Easy to use. Just enter the URL you want Web Dumper to start download from and hit the Dump button. It is really that simple and the default settings are the ones you'll use most often. If not just step through the preferences to change them and tell Web Dumper exactly which pages to fetch.
Versatile. Web Dumper gives you many options for selecting what to download by file type, location and size.
Fast. Web Dumper multi-threaded downloading engine downloads pages fast. You can choose how many threads to use and whether to download text only or the full page including graphics.
Thorough. Some sites can be difficult to grab if they come from CGI scripts or contain JavaScript. Web Dumper can't promise to download 100% of websites but it in most cases it does a very good job of downloading them.

2.- Getting Started
Web Dumper comes with ready-to-use default factory settings which allows you to start downloading your favorite web site right now. However, you can change settings to meet your needs at any time.
Web Dumper works the same way all common web browsers use to do, downloading documents from the World Wide Web using HTTP protocol. But rather than displaying them with their embedded pictures, songs or movies, it saves them to files for later offline browsing. Furthermore, instead of downloading one only document per user request from the web at a time, Web Dumper goes thru all links and get any document linked to the given starting page again and again recreating on your hard drive a copy a the original site's folder hierarchy.
Enter the URL you want Web Dumper to download, no need to specify the protocol to be used (always 'http://' by default) and push 'Dump' button. Your URL will be added to the history bookmark list and will be available next time thru the list popup on the right.
Once download is started you can follow all processes from the same window including thru a detailed file list accessible pushing the disclosure triangle on the bottom left edge.

3.- How to register...
Web Dumper is distributed as shareware. If you want to get rid of this annoying registration dialog at launch, you can register for only $14.90 US using whichever of the following online processing services located at: (Secure servers)
Note: Shareware registrations for Web Dumper are handled by Kagi, Regnow and RegSoft, companies that process registrations for several hundred authors. They are NOT software publishers, and they do not provide technical support for Web Dumper or any of the other programs they handle. For technical support, contact us at: dev@maxprog.com.
Once Kagi processes your payment, which takes up to a couple of hours, they e-mail you a registration code in a message with subject Thanks for your payment. This code lets you disable the Annoying unregistered footer notice. If you do not receive your code within a week, contact Kagi at <admin@kagi.com>. Kagi also accepts postal and Fax orders.
